Well I don't have the ingredients for moussaka either

Anyway the reason why I'm eating so much greens is coz I eat the leftover food of my pets -_-"

MPB bought so much salads it's not funny

And I have so much Arugala at home too. Maybe I should go get some aged parmesan and eat that tossed with pepper and salt >.< too "

Usually I just make do with what I have at home :P I don't follow any recipes

i haven't got a hang of arugala yet...probably never will. find it too bitter.

stellazio SG

Ok found my lactic butter

HM is going to buy for me also

KNS he bought for me too much Radicchio liao

I will be having grilled Radicchio and Belgian Endive for dinner

I'm turning vegetarian

Haha

actually although you complain alot bout HM, but i think you do really treasure him as ur "maid" sometimes..

cassie SG

my dinner was natural oats crackers dip with Guacamole ...and plenty mouthful of thick and creamy yogurt and... a cuppa of soy milk...

i gonna make potato salad for my lunch tmr :) yesterday too lazy to do..

you've din? so early

Fatum SG

MPB can cook, wash dishes, mop, vacuum, iron clothes, clean the air-con, fix things around the house, unclog the toliet, wash the toliet etc

Well of course we share the housework

I think MPB is an all-rounder la. He's also metrosexual enough to want to take care of his skin and fussy about his clothes and accessories

hey I do all that too ! .....

I also water the plants for fatumnette .....

the only difference is that I'm a soap and water guy ...

Well you don't take parmesan cheese.I think it's great with aged parmesan and freshly ground black pepper n some salt to taste if you need more salt

LOTUSfairy SG

still very hot, wait till sundown then i trot to ntuc nearby... i want no sun ..noo sun....

the few times i had it was with light salad dressing aka olive oil+black pepper - that's probably why i don't like it

any other way of "devouring" it?

I"m not sure... I guess you have to find something that goes along well with the bitter taste

I find that parmesan does well in “cancelling” out the bitterness

But then again I kind of like the bitterness

I don’t know mask it with a sauce like maybe vinegar/lemon juice, maple syrup and orange juice?

So it's more sweet?

cassie SG

silly thought...it's usually eaten as a salad/raw. anyone tried cooking it?

I think there are recipes to cook it but I never tried before

Ok this one is interesting

Flash Cooked Greens with Garlic & Lime

http://thevegandiet.blogspot.com/2007/10/arugula-or-rocket.html

This three-minute side dish is great for people who don’t like more strongly flavored leafy greens like kale and collards.

2 tbsps olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tsp)
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
8 cups baby spinach (about 5 oz.)
4 cups arugula leaves (about 2 bunches)
2 tsp lime juice
1 tsp red wine vinegar

Heat oil, garlic and pepper flakes in large skillet over medium heat. Cook 2 minutes, or until garlic is browned. Add spinach and arugula, and cook 1 minute, or until barely wilted and heated through, tossing with tongs. Remove from heat, and stir in lime juice and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, and serve. Serves 6
